Cartel

Cartel is a five-piece band from Atlanta, Georgia formed in 2004. This band is relatively unknown by the public in America and especially Europe, but is busy to conquer the world with their pop/punk music. Their most recent album is called Chroma and is released in June 2006.
Most of their songs from their new album are inspired by punk and hardcore communities and ofcourse pop/punk. Some of the songs are better summarized by rock/punk, others, the more "softer"songs are more influenced by punk and pop.
They really are not a boyband, the music they make is energetic and their lyrics are very poetric. You can hear their emotions, especially in the "softer" songs.

That they are appreciated in the music world, is seen from their success in charts.
For instance, they won the "Who's next" competition from Yahoo, Music!. If this is not even enough, they were called "Breaker" artist by AOL music (which is very impressive).

Songs I recommend:
Say anything (else); Save us; Matter of time.

This is just a band you need to know!

CRIME

Crime, the first Rock'N'Roll band of San Fransisco!
They date back from the 70's, and you know what that means. Crime has made some funky rock songs. Most of them about San Fransisco, but nevertheless they have a very all-American rock'n'roll style. That's why they recently showed up in a commercial of K-Swiss.
Their music is, what I think, timeless. Nowadays they are still able to give you that feeling that you are an all-American guy from the 70's.
It really is great music!Here is a site with some songs of them:

The C.M.O.N.S.

The C.M.O.N.S. are an alternative rock formation from Barcelona, Spain. They make somewhat strange music. Although the numbers I have heared from them are very energetic and funny.
Their songs are sounding a bit the same after a while I guess. But that
happens when you decide to name your songs all about the same. For instance, they have got songs called:
C'mon;
C'mon C'mon; C'mon C'mon C'mon; C'mon 4; C'mon yeah; C'mon get stuffed;
And you actually can go on about this!
Also the clips that they make are very revolutionaire.
Here are some links with more information about The C.M.O.N.S.:

I think these guys can make it to the European top. Maybe you have already heared of them, and else... you have heared about them now.
